Deep Learning Software Engineer

In this role, you’ll be part of the Deep Learning Group, a multi-disciplinary group involved in various SW and HW activities.

You’ll take part in the development of state-of-the-art, computer vision AI technology for edge devices and Sony image-sensor.

Responsibilities:

  • Be part of the team developing the neural network converter/compiler for our small footprint edge device chip
  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain high quality, mature, well-tested code 
  • Take part in brainstorms, investigating the new technologies and finding the ways of optimizing the existing solutions
  • Collaborate with other teams across the product toolchain 

Requirements:

  • BSc in computer science/software engineering or equivalent
  • 6+ years of industry experience
  • Proficiency in Java/Kotlin/Scala
  • Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals, graph theory, algorithms, data structures
  • Excellent algorithmic development skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Passion for software development, interest and ability to learn other programming languages as needed
  • Experience with functional programming is an advantage
  • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, principles and algorithms is an advantage
