Technology Analyst

We contribute to SONY Group Corporation innovation by building partnerships with external high-tech companies across the EU and Israel in strategic areas including semiconductors, artificial intelligence, mobility tech, gaming and entertainment tech, cloud, fintech and insurance-tech, and much more.

Our team also leads the venture capital activities of Sony Innovation Fund’s early stage and growth stage funds, from deal sourcing all the way through to deal execution and portfolio management. Sony Innovation Fund is investing in technology-driven transformational companies that are shaping the future of business, entertainment and society.

About the job

We’re seeking a strong candidate with a technology background in imaging and sensing to join our team in Israel. In this position, you’ll work on industry-shaping projects with a diverse global team and make meaningful contributions to the growth of the SONY Group.

The role will involve driving key technological projects in the imaging space in different verticals. It requires an ability to not only understand the technologies involved but also to contribute to discussions about system architectures and product development which combine hardware, software/AI, and cloud services.

The candidate will need to have an exceptional ability to learn about new technologies at a fast pace and be able to facilitate cross-border, cross-cultural discussions.

In addition to technological understanding, strong project management abilities, financial, and business analysis skills will be required.


For this role, we’re considering candidates that have the following qualifications:

  • BSc/MSc with a technical background in imaging-related technologies (Electrical-Engineering/Physics/Computer Science).
  • 3-7 years of experience in a technical business role
  • Experience and knowledge in imaging (cameras) and sensing
  • MBA – an advantage
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
